Design Joomla archive pages with YOOtheme Pro
Archive Layouts for YOOtheme adds a YOOtheme Pro layout for Joomla's Archived Articles page.
Joomla sites use archived articles when older content should remain available without appearing in normal category or featured listings. Core Joomla already provides the Articles > Archived Articles menu item, date filtering and pagination. Developers can style that output with CSS or a template override, while sites using YOOtheme Pro may otherwise accept its available layouts or look for an extension. According to the listing, this extension goes beyond core by adding an Archived Articles template type and exposing archive data, article fields, custom fields and filter information to YOOtheme's builder. It also supports assignment by category, child categories, language and page number.
That makes it relevant to sites that use YOOtheme Pro 5 and need the archive page to follow a deliberately designed content layout. It is not useful for a site that does not use YOOtheme Pro, does not publish archived content, or is satisfied with Joomla's standard archive output and a small override.
The download is listed as free and GPLv2 or later, but YOOtheme Pro is a separate commercial product and is not included. WebG.it is shown with two other extensions in the directory, while this listing has no reviews. Before installing, check the stated Joomla 5 or 6 and PHP 8.1-plus requirements, confirm that the separate YOOtheme licence is available, and review the documentation. The listing does not establish how the extension behaves with other template customisations beyond its stated test setup, or how support is provided in practice.
