DLS Showcase Lite arranges copy, buttons and image cards

This job comes up when a Joomla site needs a designed promotional or feature block rather than a conventional article list. Joomla core can publish the heading and copy through articles or modules, and a Custom HTML module can also contain images, links and buttons. The core does not provide this particular multi-card fan composition as a ready-made presentation. A developer could build it with custom HTML and CSS, or adapt an existing output with a template override, but sites without that design work often look to an extension. According to the listing, DLS Showcase Lite goes beyond those core building blocks by supplying the fan arrangement, responsive presentation, optional pointer movement and its configured content fields in one package.

It is aimed at a brochure, campaign or product site whose editor wants a repeatable visual showcase without hand-coding each instance. It may also suit a small team working within Joomla’s administrator and update system. A text-led site, a site that already has its card layout in the template, or a project needing video and more card layouts has little reason to use the Lite edition; the listing says those latter features belong to the separate Pro edition.

The directory marks it as a free download under GPLv2 or later, from Dominik Lehner, in the Design section. The developer has six other listed extensions, while this entry has no reviews. Before installing, check the supplied documentation and demo, confirm the layout meets accessibility and keyboard requirements, and establish how much styling can be changed. The listing does not spell out those details, nor does it state the maintenance policy beyond Joomla Update System support.
