HikaShop invoices sent to Pennylane as Factur-X
Pennylane for HikaShop sends HikaShop invoices and credit notes to Pennylane as Factur-X files, with customer and payment handling.
This problem exists because Joomla core does not provide a shopping cart, invoice workflow, or connection to an accounting service. HikaShop handles the shop side, while its PDF Invoice plugin can produce the customer-facing invoice and Factur-X document. Joomla core features and a template override can change site presentation, but neither supplies an accounting export to Pennylane. This plugin goes beyond them by sending documents through Pennylane's API, creating customers, and handling invoice status and payment information.
The developer says it can send invoices and credit notes, retry failures through the HikaShop cron, avoid duplicate submissions, and process orders invoiced from a chosen date. Those details matter mainly to French shops subject to e-invoicing and e-reporting requirements, especially teams already using HikaShop, the PDF Invoice plugin, and a Pennylane subscription with API access. A Joomla site without HikaShop, without Pennylane, or without a need to transfer accounting documents has no obvious use for it. A template override is not a substitute for this integration.
