JL Like 5.3.0 adds Threads and Reddit support
Joomline has released JL Like 5.3.0, an update to its social-button plugin for Joomla. The release adds support for Threads and Reddit, while expanding the styling and layout controls available for social sharing buttons.
New configuration options
The update provides five predefined button styles: Default, Minimal, Gradient, Outlined and Floating. Administrators can arrange buttons with drag-and-drop controls, making it possible to change their order without manually editing configuration values.
JL Like 5.3.0 also introduces a button-collapsing system. This can reduce the visible footprint of a larger set of social-network controls while retaining access to the available services.
Preview and platform updates
The settings preview widget has been updated to reflect configuration changes in real time. The release also replaces Twitter references with X, including the service's logo and colours.
Joomline says fixed-position buttons now have improved positioning. Alongside the existing networks, the plugin can now display controls for Threads and Reddit.
