A mouse-following image reveal header for Joomla
Interactive image headers can give a visually led Joomla site a different first impression, but they also introduce design, accessibility and performance questions that static banners avoid.
DLS Reveal Header Lite is a Joomla header module that places one image over another and reveals the lower image through a movable circular opening controlled by a mouse or finger.
Joomla core can already handle the ordinary parts of this job: a Custom module can provide a heading, text, buttons and images, while module positions and template styling place that content in a header. A template override, with custom CSS and JavaScript, could build the layered reveal effect. This extension goes beyond those core tools by packaging the interaction and exposing settings for the opening's radius, soft edge and inner shadow. The listing also says the Lite edition supports module sizing and touch devices.
