A vinyl-record music player module for Joomla 6
Twiggi Vinyl Player is a Joomla module that presents one playable audio track as an illustrated vinyl turntable, with configurable artwork and a single play button.
Audio is a recurring requirement for music sites, artist pages, radio projects, event websites and portfolios, but Joomla core does not provide a dedicated, styled music-player module. A site can use a Custom HTML module and the HTML5 <audio> element, with media stored through Joomla or elsewhere, then adjust the presentation with CSS or a template override. That covers playback controls, but not the turntable-style interface described in this listing. Twiggi Vinyl Player goes beyond that core approach by packaging the visual record, tonearm and artwork settings as a module, according to the developer.
Its likely audience is a musician, DJ, label, record shop or other presentation-focused site that wants one track to be visible as part of the page design. A site that only needs ordinary audio controls, several tracks, playlists, streaming-service embeds or an invisible background player has little reason to install it. It is also not presented as a general media-management system.
The listing marks Twiggi Vinyl Player as a free download under GPLv2 or later, from Frydendal, in the Multimedia Players section. It reports Joomla 6 compatibility, but the page has no reviews and lists support as unavailable. The directory entry does not establish the developer's wider extension track record. Before installing, check supported audio formats, accessibility and keyboard behaviour, mobile performance, autoplay policy, file-handling details, update coverage and whether the visual controls can be styled or translated. The listing also does not explain those points, or provide a support channel.
