Conditional redirects for Joomla logins, logouts and first visits
Login Redirect Manager is aimed at Joomla sites that need different visitors to arrive at different destinations depending on who they are and how they reached the site.
Login Redirect Manager sends users to selected destinations after login, logout, a first login, or an attempt to open the site.
This need arises because Joomla's core login module can already specify login and logout redirect pages, normally using a selected menu item. That is enough when every user follows the same path. A template override can change the presentation of the login form, but it is not a sensible place to maintain conditional redirect logic. Site owners otherwise tend to use an extension or custom plugin code.
According to the listing, this extension goes beyond those basic core settings with ordered rules that can target users, groups, access levels, the public site or administrator, IP addresses, languages, source pages and date ranges. It also covers first-login and open-site events, permits internal or allow-listed external destinations, and includes a simulator and JSON import/export. The listing says the first published matching rule wins.
That makes it relevant to membership sites, customer portals, multilingual sites, or teams whose editors and customers need different destinations. A small brochure site with one public login route, or a site with no user accounts, has little reason to install it.
It is a paid download from Infyways Solutions, licensed under GPLv2 or later. The directory lists 114 other extensions from the developer but no reviews for this one. Before buying, check the price, update and support terms, documentation, and how the rules interact with existing login modules, caching, administrator access and security controls. The listing states support for Joomla 4.4, 5 and 6 and PHP 8.1+, but does not explain those operational details.
