Joomla World Conference returns in Germany in October 2026
The Joomla World Conference will return from 16 to 18 October 2026 in Germany, bringing together international speakers for two and a half days of talks, community discussion and networking.
The programme is planned around four parallel sections: two conducted in English and two in German. The event will also include an area where sponsors can present products and connect with members of the Joomla community.
Speakers and programme
The announced speakers include Laura Gordon, coordinator of the Joomla User Group team and organiser of JoomlaDay USA; Brian Teeman, co-founder of Joomla and Open Source Matters; and Sigrid Gramlinger, coordinator of the Joomla Production Department and a member of the conference organising committee.
Other speakers are Joomla developer René Kreijveld; Yannick Gaultier, one of the organisers of JoomlaDay France; UX specialist Mario Fraune; Joomla 6.0 release manager Philip Walton; and Nadja Lamisch, head of Joomla’s Social Media team.
The list also includes Harald Leitner, Joomla 6.2 release manager, Joomla Security Strike member and organising committee member; David Jardin, head of the Joomla Security Strike Team; Viviana Menzel, head of the Accessibility & Usability team; Benjamin Trenkle, head of the CMS Maintenance Team; and Marc Dechevre, an author of numerous Joomla publications and videos. The speakers represent Austria, Belgium, England, France, Germany, the Netherlands and the United States.
Call for speakers
The conference is accepting speaker proposals in English or German. Topics may come from developers, designers, agency owners, accessibility specialists or others with experience building websites with Joomla.
