NorrNext publishes final interviews from its first magazine issue
NorrNext has published the concluding group of interviews from the first issue of its magazine, bringing together 25 English-language conversations with Joomla contributors from across the global community.
The interviewees represent a range of roles in the Joomla ecosystem, including developers, volunteers, translators, user group organisers, community writers and former project leaders. The collection also includes contributors associated with JoomlaDay events and regional Joomla organisations.
Featured contributors
- Adedayo Makinde, Bill Kotsias, Kazuo Gomi Filho, Mahdi Ahazan, Neil Robertson and Tim Davis, identified as Joomla popularisers; Tim Davis also runs a YouTube channel.
- Andrés Restrepo, a Spanish translator; Carlos Cámara, author of a book for developers; and Serge Billon, a writer for the Joomla Community Magazine.
- Valentín García, Uziel Almeida Oliveira, Llewellyn van der Merwe and Shirat Goldstein, identified as developers. Goldstein is a full-stack developer.
- Ariadne Pinheiro, a DevOps specialist; Rifat Wahid Alif, a Project Lead; and Michael Russell and Rinat Kazhetov, identified as volunteers.
- Chris Hoefliger and Ahmad Moussa, organisers of Joomla User Groups in Zurich and Saudi Arabia respectively; Johan van der Velde, co-organiser of JoomlaDay Netherlands; and Donato Matturro, president of the Joomla Lombardia association.
- Daniel Dubois and Sarah Watz, former Joomla vice-president and president respectively; Nadja Lamisch, former Joomla treasurer; and Anja de Crom, leader of the Joomla Community Magazine.
The participants are based in Nigeria, Colombia, Greece, Spain, Switzerland, France, Italy, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Iran, Australia, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, Germany, Canada, Namibia and Israel. The issue is available in English through NorrNext’s website.
