Klaviyo sign-ups from Joomla’s core contact form

Contact Form Integration for Klaviyo sends submissions from Joomla’s built-in contact form to a selected Klaviyo list.

A Joomla contact form normally sends a message to a configured recipient; it is not, by itself, a marketing-list signup mechanism. Core features can provide the form, contact fields and custom fields, while a template override can change its markup and presentation. Neither approach natively passes submitted data to Klaviyo. A custom integration or an extension is therefore needed when a site wants contact enquiries and newsletter acquisition to share one form.

According to the listing, ClickSyncr’s extension goes beyond that core workflow by loading Klaviyo lists and custom fields for mapping, and by offering a choice about whether a consent checkbox is required. It also claims settings for subscriber status, double opt-in and existing subscribers, with failures logged rather than shown to visitors.

That makes it relevant to a Joomla site already using Klaviyo and wanting its existing contact form to feed a list without adding a separate form builder. It has no obvious role on sites that do not use Klaviyo, do not collect marketing consent, or only need contact messages delivered by email.

The directory marks it as a free download under the GPLv2 or later license and lists Joomla 4.4, 5 and 6 support. The developer, ClickSyncr, has four other extensions listed, while this entry has no reviews. Before installing, check how the API key is stored, what Klaviyo permissions it needs, how retries and logs are managed, and whether the consent and privacy behaviour meets your obligations. The listing does not explain those details, pricing beyond the free download, or provide testing evidence.
