A Joomla module for showing CoworkingView city price data

This job arises when a site wants current market information from an outside service rather than a manually maintained table. Joomla core can place a Custom module, article, or other module output on a page, but it does not provide a ready-made module for retrieving and formatting this particular external dataset. A template override is useful for changing the markup of an existing Joomla view, not for turning a remote API response into a new data display. Without an extension, a developer would normally build a custom module or integration.

According to the listing, this module goes beyond those core options by requesting /v1/market/rates, selecting a city, product type, language, and item count, then displaying medians, percentile ranges, and sample sizes. It also provides its own server-side response cache and handles the source attribution returned by the API. Joomla's own module cache must be disabled for setting changes to appear immediately.

It is aimed at coworking operators, workspace directories, commercial-property sites, and city guides that want indicative market figures without listing individual venues. A typical brochure site, blog, or site with no flexible-workspace audience has little reason to install it.

The listing says it is a free download under GPLv2 or later, with no commercial key. The directory entry shows CoworkingView as the developer and has no reviews, so it offers little visible track record. Before installing, check the API's availability and rate limits, the treatment of failed or incomplete responses, data freshness, accessibility of the generated table, and the privacy and operational implications of sending city and language values to the external service. The listing does not state those details.
