Joomla contact forms to Kit subscriber lists

Contact Form Integration for Kit sends submissions from Joomla's built-in contact form to a selected Kit form, with field mapping and optional consent.

Joomla's core contact component is designed to send enquiries by email, not to add those people to an email-marketing service. A site can use the standard contact form as it stands, alter its presentation with a template override, or install an extension when a submission needs to trigger another service. Core does not provide a native Kit connection, API-key setup, Kit-form selection, or subscriber field mapping. According to the listing, this extension adds those parts and can require a consent checkbox before sending a contact to Kit.

It is aimed at sites that already use Joomla's contact component for lead capture and use Kit to manage subscribers, especially when the team wants to avoid replacing the form with a separate form builder. A brochure site that only needs contact messages delivered by email, or a site that does not use Kit, has no obvious use for it. Teams with unusual consent, data-retention, or subscription workflows may also need more than the listed configuration provides.

The extension is listed as a free download under Mailing a newsletter bridges, with a GPLv2-or-later licence. The directory page shows seven other extensions from ClickSyncr, but this listing has no reviews. Before installing, check how the API key is stored, what data is sent, how failures and retries are handled, and whether the claimed post-response sending can lose submissions. Confirm Kit account requirements, double opt-in behaviour, existing-subscriber handling, uninstall effects, privacy documentation, and support coverage. The listing says it supports Joomla 4.4, 5 and 6, but does not explain its maintenance policy or limits on field mapping.
