Midtrans payment checkout for HikaShop stores
Midtrans for HikaShop sends HikaShop customers to Midtrans Snap to pay in Indonesian rupiah and passes payment results back to the shop.
Online shops need this because Joomla itself is not an e-commerce platform and does not include a shopping cart or payment-gateway connections. HikaShop supplies the shop and payment-method framework, but each provider normally needs its own HikaShop payment plugin. A template override can change checkout markup and styling; it cannot, by itself, create Midtrans transactions, receive payment notifications, or reconcile refunds. According to the listing, this extension goes beyond checkout redirection by handling Midtrans notifications, checking their signatures, reading transactions back, and sending refunds or cancellations when the corresponding HikaShop order status changes.
Its audience is a HikaShop shop selling to customers in Indonesia, with a Midtrans merchant account and prices in IDR. The listing says it supports Midtrans card payments, bank virtual accounts, e-wallets, QRIS, retail counters and instalment options. A shop using another gateway, another currency, or no HikaShop store has no evident reason to install it.

It claims compatibility with Joomla 4, 5 and 6, all Joomla versions and all HikaShop editions, with PHP 7.4 minimum; we have not tested those claims.
