Send Joomla contact submissions to Elastic Email lists
Contact Form Integration for Elastic Email adds submitted Joomla contact-form data to an Elastic Email subscriber list.
This need exists because Joomla’s core contact form is primarily a way to send messages to site administrators; it does not natively add submitters to an external email-marketing list. A template override can change the form’s markup and presentation, but it does not by itself handle Elastic Email’s API or subscriber rules. Sites normally need custom integration code, a form extension with a mailing-service connector, or a connector such as this one.
According to the listing, ClickSyncr’s extension goes beyond core by loading Elastic Email lists and custom fields for mapping, and by providing settings for consent, subscriber status, double opt-in and existing subscribers. The developer also says it sends the request after Joomla has answered the visitor and logs failures rather than displaying them.
It is aimed at a site that already uses Joomla’s built-in contact form and Elastic Email, especially one that wants those submissions treated as newsletter contacts without replacing the form. A brochure site that only receives enquiries by email, or a site using another mailing platform or form builder, has little reason to install it.
The download is free and licensed GPLv2 or later. The directory shows ClickSyncr with 10 other extensions, while this listing has no reviews. Before installing, check the required Elastic Email API permissions, how failed or repeated submissions can be retried, and how personal data and consent records are handled. The listing does not explain those details, nor does it state whether Elastic Email account charges apply or document the supported field types and validation rules.
